OilSpec currently uses strictly necessary storage only. These are exempt from the consent requirement under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) because they are essential to provide the service you have requested.
- Authentication (local storage): our authentication provider stores your session token in browser local storage so you remain signed in between visits. Cleared on sign-out.
- Security (cookies): our hosting platform may set cookies to protect against fraud and abuse.
3. What we do not use
We do not currently use advertising, marketing, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before setting any non-essential cookies.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking authentication storage will prevent you from signing in.
